Dynasty Warriors - PSX

The combat in Dynasty Warriors is all weapon based and contains no punches or kicks some characters have swords, some knives, and others spears. Blocking takes two forms: a standard block and a parry. The standard block can be done through a dedicated button or by holding the D-pad in the back direction. These blocks are performed either standing or crouching and will only work against an attack at the same height. Because the fighting is done with weapons, no damage is taken if this block is successful.

Dynasty Warriors Cheats - Playstation (PSX)

Unlockable Characters (NA Version Only):
At the title screen highlight 1P Battle and perss Left, Left, Up, Down, Triangle, Square, L1, R1 - Sun Shang Xiang

Complete 1 Player mode with Nobunaga, then highlight 1P Battle and press Down, Down, Right, Up, Circle, Triangle, R1, R2 - Unlock Toukichi

After completing 1 player mode with Lu Bu, highlight 1P Mode at the main menu and press Square, Up, Triangle, Down, Circle - Unlock Nobunaga

Unlockable Characters (JP Version Only):
With Sun Shang Xiang already unlocked, go to the main menu highlight 1P battle and press Square, Up, Triangle, Down, X - Unlock Nobunga

With Lu Bu unlocked go to the main menu and highlight 1P Battle and press Left, Left, Up, Down, Triangle, Square, L1, R1 - Unlock Sun Shang Xiang

With Nobunaga unlocked go to the main menu and highlight 1P Battle and press Down, Right, Up, X, Triangle, R1, R2 - Unlock Toukichi

Secret Characters:
Lu Bu - Beat the game with Cao Cao and Zhuge Liange.

Zhuge Liang - Beat the game with Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, and Zhao Yun, then press Left at the Character Select screen.

Cao Cao - Beat the game with all characters.
